Responding to a need from the urogynaecology industry, NuAngle partnered with their product partners Coloplast and the University of the Freestate to host the first African Masterclass in Urogynaecology. Tec Med and Synthec assisted with sponsorships for the workshops held at UFS from the 5th to the 7th July 2018
Industry experts and academics offered lectures, workshops and training sessions to educate and assist doctors in performing the various surgical techniques for pelvic floor repair. The objective of this event was to share updated content focused on urogynaecology. Experts covered current treatments and techniques for incontinence and prolapse surgery as well as the pathophysiology, optimal evaluation, and effective treatment of women with pelvic floor disorders.
With the lectures, the hands-on cadaver workshops and the nearly live surgeries, delegates had the opportunity to learn, ask questions and gain some experience in the field of female pelvic floor surgery.
NuAngle thanks Coloplast, the University of the Freestate, the sponsors and the experts who willingly gave their time and expertise in support of the NuAngle African Masterclass in Urogynaecology.
